I am the Principal Meteorological Officer at Jersey Met. Jersey Met is a section of the Department of the Environment. We have 12.3 full time equivalent staff and we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year including Christmas day. We forecast the weather and warn the public, and our customers, for the whole of the Channel Islands. Our biggest two customers are the States of Guernsey and Ports of Jersey.
